Carver County has
traditionally been compromised of communities dependent on
agriculture. However, in the last ten years several
communities such as Chaska and Chanhassen have developed into highly
desirable areas to live and work. Nestled in the Minnesota
River watershed, the county is rich in vegetation and continues to
grow very rapidly. The eastern edge of Carver county is
located about 30 minutes from downtown Minneapolis.
